Once again, another busy school
year has passed and summer is here. It
truly seems that as we get older, time is
going by faster. However, we had a
great and busy school year. Staff and
students have been busy with Ohio’s
New Learning Standards and new State
assessments (KRA and 3
rd
Grade ELA
and Math AIR tests), as well as the
continued implementation of Ohio’s
Third Grade Reading Guarantee. The
most important thing you can do this
summer with your child in preparation
for the new school year is to read.
Read with them, read to them and
continually ask your child questions
about what they are reading.
For next year, the elementary
building will open its doors at 8:25 a.m.
The tardy bell will be ringing at 8:40
a.m. Our school day runs from 8:25
a.m.-3:25 p.m. Parent pick-up will be at
3:05 p.m. in the student dining area.
Please remember that students being
picked up must be signed out by an
adult. Also, please remember to bring a
photo ID with you to sign your child out.
Visitors and guests must sign in at the
front office. Please remember that the
side parking lot is reserved for staff and
visitors. The front parking lot is
reserved for our school busses. During
parent pick-up, there is also a parking
lot behind our playground that can be
used.

child’s teacher information, as well as a
