Welcome to the website for Newton Falls High School Systems Hardware Class.

The systems hardware class is the first of a two series class geared towards the preparation of students to become computer technicians and to extend the invitation to participate in the district's Technology Assistants's program their Jr./Sr. year.

This class is a 36 week course offering a full High School Credit.

Application

This class is being offered through an application process. Students must obtain an application, have it filled out, and returned to the Technology Office in order to participate in the class. Applicaitons will be reviewed by the District's Technology Coordinator, High School Principal, and The High School Computer Teacher. Students will be notified at the beginning of the next school year if they are not accepted in the program.

Prerequisite

Students should be computer-literate, self-motivated, and have organizational skills. In addition to these qualities, the student must have completed a keyboarding class with a final grade of “C” or better.
