This lecture discusses the plague that every computer technician will face at some point in their career, computer viruses.  We will discuss what they are, how they work, how to get rid of them, and how to prevent them.  The later part of the lecture will discuss spyware as well.

Students will have an understanding about computer viruses and what problems they can create in the work place.
