The Newton Falls Girls’ Basketball team will be hosting a Foundation game to help benefit Chloe Downing on Tuesday, November 19th, at 6:00 PM. Just last summer Chloe Downing was a basketball player and outstanding student. Chloe has recently been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This is an extremely rare connective tissue disorder and she is no longer able to play sports or even attend school. She has trouble walking and has to be carried up and down stairs. Although the disease has been extremely debilitating, Chloe remains positive and has started a greeting card business and she spends her days making cards for all sorts of special occasions. T-shirts are also being sold and all the proceeds from the sales and donations from the Foundation Game will go to help fight this terrible disease. T-shirt orders are due by Wednesday, November 6th. Order forms are available from Mr. Baker in room 304 or at the High School Office.

The City of Newton Falls is providing live broadcasts of events happening in town, including all home Varsity Football Games. The broadcasts are currently available to anyone who has access to Facebook. However, they are having trouble sharing our live events with those residents in Newton Falls that are only able to see our content on their spectrum cable TV access channel, 1023.

They'd love for everyone to see what they're doing, but until they get 1,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel, they can't share the video with the community access channel video server. YouTube won't allow it. Once they have the 1,000 subscribers, live events will be available on Facebook, YouTube and Spectrum Cable channel 1023.

They need your help, it’s just two simple steps

1. Go to YouTube search for Newton Falls TV.

2. Click the red button on the right that says "subscribe."

In Case Of Emergency

In case of emergencies such as school closings, bus delays or upcoming events, the district will use its computerized telephone notification system to inform parents. It is extremely important that parents verify their emergency telephone numbers with each building secretary. If you have changed telephone numbers or are now using only a cell phone contact to be reached please update your information with the building secretary.
